Turmeric Fat Bombs! (Paleo, Keto, GF, DF)

As I have been running new clients through my 30-Day Keto Cleanse, the number one concern has been getting enough HEALTHY fats, while avoiding carbohydrates and going too far on protein.

The solution? FAT BOMBS!!!!

The idea is that these are little snacks packed with fat that will sustain you and bring that fat count higher without too much carbs or protein. Quite honestly, it can be tough to find that right mix so that it doesn't feel like your just snacking on a stick of butter, but it can be done!! These are a great example.

My other focus on The Realistic Holistic Keto Cleanse is that we actually prioritize foods that will amplify the cleansing effects of the ketogenic diet, helping to reduce inflammation and up regulate liver function. Enter: TURMERIC!

Turmeric contains natures most anti-inflammatory compound called curcumin. Turns out, turmeric is meant to be on the ketogenic diet because, what do we need to eat alongside turmeric in order to absorb that curcumin? FAT! Woohoo!

Alas, here we have a little golden ball of fatty anti-inflammatory heaven!

I use collagen powder in my fat bombs for a little bit of protein and to reap some of it's healing benefits including gut health, skin health, and joint health. If you don't want even that much protein, use coconut flour instead of collagen powder in the recipe!

Give these guys a try to support your ketogenic diet and get some anti-inflammatory, cleansing & gut healing benefits along the way!
