Rocky Road Chocolate Bites! (GF, V)


If you're one to let that chocolate craving get the better of you at night, when you've been exerting your willpower like a boss all day... stop exerting that willpower! It's a waste of energy! 

Instead, enjoy little tastes of chocolate in healthy ways throughout the day! I have chocolate every day... usually DURING the day so that by the time I get home, I'm ready to crash with a cup of tea instead of a whole bar of chocolate AND because I'm busy during the day, it usually only takes a bite or two to satisfy that craving. 

There are lots of good things about chocolate! Antioxidants, magnesium, calcium and more! So don't deprive yourself! Just do it right! 

If you're going with a bar, go 70% cacao or higher but the best best is making your own chocolatey treats. Try these out and tell me they don't hit the spot! 




- 1 cup raw almonds

- 1 cup pitted dates

- 1/4 cup cacao powder

- 1 tbsp coconut oil

- 1 tsp raw honey


Combine ingredients in a food processor or high powered blender and process until you've created a sticky dough-like consistency.

- Portion out scoops by the spoonful and roll into bite sized balls.

- Let set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

- Pack in your bag and take them with you for a daily chocolate boost!

- ENJOY!!!
